First closed beta session

Wow… Yikes! What a day! We’ve held our first closed beta session today, and we’ve faced some constructive criticism and some praise, as well as some suggestions moving forward. Quite a cool session! We monitored the testing, where we gave some users some information in advance - others, ran into this completely “blind” to the entire concept itself. We took notes, and have already managed to implement some of the changes already. Some of the changes that will be implemented after today’s session is as follows:

  • Alteration of the Ability “Land mine”: Land Mine will now damage the enemy, as well as being able to destroy boxes.

  • Scene transition changes: Altered the animation of the scene transition “wall”, applying to all levels and scenes.

  • Showcasing selected tank: Fixed a bug (was fixed, we somehow broke it again!) - Again! Should display correct body now!

Further, we will do an overhaul of the UI. This includes mostly repositioning, but might also include some changes to visual elements (buttons, etc).
