First week of radio silence

What a week it has been! You’ve might wondered where all the posts have been - and there are multiple reasons for that: Super busy! We’ve now made the giant leap of adapting ToW into the app-format, and have now tested the functions in a proper layout. Little is to say, that this have required some alterations on our end, regarding placement, scaling, framerates and other optimization measures. Hence, some alterations to the physics and general interface has also seen some slight changes.

Throughout the course of this past week, we’ve gone through multiple test clients of the game - and we feel more confident than ever about the concept as a whole, and the entertainment value it will bring. Its simplicity in theory makes for an easy entry into the game, but at the same time; introduces complexity regarding the various elements the player needs to balance.

The elements of Health, fuel and ammunition, paired with the interface the user engages with to progress in a map, made sure that there indeed is a skill ceiling in the game itself - and even with the different characters. It has made for some fun moments throughout the week!

Now, for the coming week (Starting August 28th) - there will be a short demonstration of the game, held locally. This is to gather further information, as well as to test the concept on a “larger audience” to check its ‘viability’ as a product. Time will tell - we’re excited!
